0x00: 8 ch Taguchi gas sensor array

.

Background

Please see the e-nose project page for an elaborate description as well as practical examples.

Function

This PCB breaks out the connections to eight Taguchi type gas sensors and effectively forms an array of sensors; the sensor part of an electronic nose.

Bill of materials

8 pcs. Taguchi gas sensor socket, 6-pin

8 pcs. Taguchi gas sensor

2 pcs. 10-pin header, female, 2.54 mm

Estimated cost

Eight Taguchi gas sensors, eight sockets, and two ten-way connectors should not cost more than EUR 20,- depending on the type of sensors.
